What is kinesiology taping?
Kinesiology tape is therapeutic tape made from cotton that has elastic properties designed to mimic the skin. The heat activated adhesive is applied to the tape in a wave pattern designed to mimic the wave of a fingerprint. The original concept of the tape was to replicate using tape what could be achieved with ones hands. The tape can be applied during the acute, sub acute and chronic stages of rehabilitation.
